I'm not actually sure where that's --^ going...but anywho...
I think boredom is a sign of laziness or at least lethargy. Now, before you go jumping down my throat let me note two things, firstly this is simply a ponderization and not a garish judgemental statement of fact. Secondly, let me say that I just had some very spicy chicken and jumping down my throat might only bring you to an untimely end within my churning, acid filled, stomach.
Being bored is an interesting phenomenon. To be bored is a situation in which you have nothing to preoccupy yourself with...close at hand. With a certain investment of energy one could potentially find something to do but often boredom sets in when this energy you're supposed to invest is waning.
Boredom can be thought of, in a sense, as a large amorphous feline that in lieu of its lack of sharp appendages, just sits on its victims and slowly drains them of vitality through some sort of vampiric osmosis.
Will someone get this thing off me?
