Season-ed
Autumn laughed as she shot Summer flying by from the wind swept sky
Winter wept six-sided tears as she fell into Spring and drowned
Spring smiled summer beauty blowing pollenated kisses to season the earth.
Hollow Bones
There was whispered sweet singing, hollow boned birdies
Flitting forth from softly parted lips
With wings too weak and hearts too frail
The fragile birds break
Like promises spoken by crossed fingers
Hollow bones shattering at bare feet
Broken bones like knives, carving vermillion roads
Like lies cutting deeper than anyone intended
